Welcome to the Five-Star Battery Data MOOC. This short introduction explains what the course covers and how to navigate the modules.

What you will learn

- Why treating battery data as a reusable asset matters.
- The five-star ladder: open access, structured data, open formats, semantic metadata, and linked data.
- How each module is organized: video, notebook walkthrough, and exercises.

How to use this MOOC

- Start with the intro video, then move through stars 1 to 5 in order.
- Each star page links to a rendered notebook with its own embedded video.
- Use the quiz page at the end to check your understanding and receive a certificate if you pass.
